Divorce Is Expensive.
Disorganization Makes It Astronomical.

Emotions are high. You’re overwhelmed. You’re trying to make high-stakes decisions while exhausted and unsure what to do next — and every hour with your attorney costs $550–$700.

Before you pay attorney rates to sort through your confusion, I help you:

  • Get your paperwork organized and complete

  • Understand what’s happening in the legal process

  • Prepare for meetings so you walk in focused and efficient

  • Draft clear, strategic communication to your spouse

  • Refine emails and questions before they go to your attorney

  • Think through decisions before you make them

I’m not your lawyer.
I’m the operational backbone that keeps your divorce focused, efficient, and financially disciplined.

Your sounding board.
Your strategist.
Your divorce project manager.

And often, the reason your legal fees don’t spiral out of control.

The Practical Side of Divorce

Divorce isn’t just emotional—it’s logistical, strategic, and often overwhelming.

There are documents to prepare, attorneys to choose, finances to organize, conversations to manage, and major life decisions to make—all at once.

That’s where I come in.

I help you:

  • Break the process into clear, manageable steps

  • Prepare before involving expensive legal time

  • Communicate more effectively with your spouse

  • Make smart, strategic decisions

  • Handle the real-life logistics of separation

Think of me as your divorce strategist, project manager, and steady sounding board.

Ashley Broersma

A calm, strategic presence in the middle of a complex life transition.

I didn’t enter this work casually.

I navigated my own divorce. I represented myself in mediation. I rebuilt my life while single parenting. And while doing that, I earned my paralegal certificate — determined to understand the system from the inside.

Afterward, I worked in a boutique family law firm supporting high-net-worth clients. I saw firsthand how the process unfolds behind the scenes — how attorneys structure cases, how billable hours accumulate, and how disorganization and emotional reactivity quietly cost people tens of thousands of dollars.

I also saw something else:

Most clients were intelligent, capable, successful people — CFOs, medical directors, professional athletes, entrepreneurs, psychologists, stay-at-home parents — who simply felt overwhelmed inside a system they didn’t fully understand.

They didn’t need more pressure.
They needed structure.

They needed someone who could help them think clearly before speaking, organize strategically before meeting, and regulate emotionally before reacting.

That’s the work I do.

Here’s what I bring to the table:

  • Procedural understanding of the family court system

  • Practical experience organizing complex financial documentation

  • Strategic communication guidance

  • Meeting preparation and decision modeling

  • Emotional steadiness in high-stakes moments

I am not your attorney.
I do not provide legal advice.

I provide the infrastructure behind the process — the clarity, organization, and strategic regulation that allows your legal team to work efficiently and allows you to move deliberately.

Because divorce is destabilizing.
But you do not have to move through it disoriented.

You can move through it informed.
Composed.
And financially aware.
